38 (who?)

A World War II Comic
filled with historical tidbits (if you can find it)

:iconthecheesecannibal:'s Professor Shortntall and his rat, Scabs

:iconunderwoodwriter:'s Dandy Kasagi

For your maximum viewing pleasure, you may click on the link below, if you wish to be supplied with a little radio entertainment while perusing through the comic.

If the video provided doesn't allow you access, you can always click on this for your dose of music:

As this is an Flash comic, you can turn the pages as you would a normal comic book.

All characters portrayed in this comic, belong to their respective owners.

WWI would have been harder than WWII, as the second Great War is one of my favourite subjects.

Had to settle for a somewhat hybrid mixture of art to fit the time period, but I think it passes - but the humour and the storytelling I tried to keep as close to the era as much as possible which means subtle and less modern humour.

I cannot tell you how glad I am that I bent your ear and got you wrangled into this OCT. Way to show the kiddies how its done, Underwood! ;) You never fail to astound and impress and this is no exception. I'm positively tickled by your dedication at the begining of your comic and hope to see you make it through the tournament with sheer oldtime pizzazz!

Huzzah - and I thank you for wrangling me into this. Hopefully I will not be super busy as the months go by. I got used to the quickfire void matches that waiting is more a chore than than the comicking part. Hahaha. Oh, and believe me, this is just the warm up round for me. Salut!

Been watching this tourney, and I can say your round 1 entry's the best I've seen so far. I love how Dandy's Japanese heritage worked out for him and got his opponent into trouble!

Thanks mate. Historically speaking some Japanese were recruited for the OSS, and being a historian myself, I could not resist writing a story on that. Thank you for your kind words.

Your comics are as smooth and rich like fine coffee as always, sir! I really love how you pushed the envelope on the interactivity with the music and flash style presentation. They compliment quite well!

Hahaha... Thank you so much mausey. Now if I could only learn how to integrate sound into the flash comic.... Hahaha I'm such a noob.

Wow you made such a great job! The style is spot on and... I can't get over how you managed to make it all silent!!

Thanks for the kind words m'dear. Silent comics are easy, but that may just be me. I guess the same applies to most movies I watch. There's a thing about them that is appealing and enjoyable, something that many movies with sound cannot replicate. Merci.

Awesome job. Really enjoyed the overall comic and the soundtrack addition. Really added to the feel of everything.
